Moore Home Services provides all types of home maintenance and repairs to help seniors remain at home as they age. Examples of services are: installing grab bars, ramps, lowering shelves to make reaching items easier, installing lever type door handles and faucets, inserting anti-slip tape in bathtubs or slippery surfaces. If not already provided by the health care provider, we can perform a detailed safety inspection of the home and provide a remedy for any discrepancies. Home repairs and modifications are provided with quality and price in mind. We always consider safety first and foremost. To be able to feel comfortable and know the home is in good repair, we offer a biannual home maintenance inspection plan. The inspection covers every aspect of the house, from inspecting roof trusses to ensuring proper weather-stripping. The plan comes with a handsome log book. The log book is an excellent tool to record and keep track of all home maintenance. It enables the homeowner to look back years and determine who did what and how much. The best part is that the book stays with the house even when the owner sells, so that the new home owners can know what was done and when. Moore Home Services has been in business since the spring of 2009. The owner, Jonathon Moore, held a North Carolina builders contractor's license for 3 years. His experience in building homes laid the ground work for having knowledge in every aspect of the home maintenance area. After working with his elderly neighbors, he discovered a real need for maintenance and modifications for seniors. Since then he has been learning ways to make aging at home more comfortable and safe. He is currently working on a CAPS certificate, offered by the National Home Builders Association.
