Provider’s Statement of Service(s):
Long Term Care Ombudsmen work as advocates for residents of nursing homes, adult care homes, licensed assisted living facilities, and family care homes. We investigate concerns from residents, or others on their behalf, and mediate disputes between residents and facilities. We also educate the public and answer questions from anyone seeking information regarding long-term care or placement issues. In addition, Ombudsmen promote elder abuse awareness within communities.
Ombudsman services are free and confidential.
