Advent Health Home Care is a department of AdventHealth Hendersonville. We are a Medicare/Medicaid certified agency providing intermittent skilled medical care to people in the comfort of their own homes. In order to receive skilled home health services, our patients are homebound, meaning it takes a considerable taxing effort to leave the home for any reason, and usually only leave home for medical appointments and some other brief, intermittent absences from the home. The patients must have a doctor who can order our services to patients in their homes. If the patient is unable to care for themselves and be safe in their home, they must have an available caregiver to be available to help. This caregiver can be someone who does or does not live with the patient, but must be available to the patient to help when needed.
