Home "Carefree" and Pro Temps Medical Staffing opened in 2002 and has been proudly serving Buncombe, Henderson, Haywood, Madison, and Transylvania counties for 14 years.

Most home care agencies offer similar services, so why choose us? Choose us because we are passionate about home care! We are locally owned, family operated, and our employees are like family to us. Why? We hire individuals who are truly "caregivers" at heart. We strive to employ only those who are in home care for the same reasons we are, because we believe that aging in place with dignity is everyone's right.

We practice a holistic approach to aging. There are more needs than just the physical needs. The elderly often become isolated when friends or spouses pass, or when they can no longer drive. Having someone to help you remain physically active and promote mental interaction is good for the mind and soul. We are not a "placement" agency—our caregivers are employed by us. That means we provide training, counseling, and corrective action if there are any concerns or performance issues. You do not have the additional responsibilities of getting coverage if the caregiver calls out or quits unlike a privately hired caregiver. All of our employees must pass a criminal background check and drug test to be hired.
